About the event
🚀 The Next Frontier is coming to the Gold Coast!
On 14-15 November 2026, Gold Coast Innovation Hub will host Queensland's only local event for the NASA Space Apps Challenge - a global hackathon bringing together curious minds to solve real-world challenges using open data from NASA and its space agency partners.
Over one action-packed weekend, participants will collaborate in teams, explore NASA-inspired challenges and transform bold ideas into innovative solutions with real-world potential.
And you don't need to be a rocket scientist to join!
Whether you're a student, developer, designer, engineer, researcher, entrepreneur, creative thinker or simply someone who loves a good challenge, there's space for you. All skill levels are welcome, and you can register individually or with a team.
With mentors available to support participants and two locally selected projects progressing to global judging, it's an exciting opportunity to learn, connect and create something extraordinary.
