So technology in sport is something that to me just accelerates human performance.

So this technology showcase has been incredible to be part of today.

The reason for that is it's a partnership.

It's a partnership between sporting organisation innovators and the technology and how we take that forward.

From a sports perspective though, we've found that there's quite a synergy.

You know, we can take a lot of the technology we use in filmmaking and apply that to sport, whether that's digitising the athletes, digitising the environments that they're playing in, digitising the things that they're playing with, whether it's a tennis racket or a ball and giving them a whole another scope of how you interact with the sport.

What we want to make sure is that we're relevant, that the consumers, the kids of today who are fans of the future, that they are engaged, enjoying sport, and it's not just about the sport, it's about the entertainment and the experience.

We also want to see greater inclusion, accessibility at all of our venues.

I think innovation and sports tech can bring that to the fore.

The goal is to replace guesswork with biological certainty.

With Hormone Tracking System, you get that level of certainty of what is actually happening in your athletes' bodies and you can program accordingly.

Or if you're in a team sport, for example, and you've got different games on, you can organise that properly in advance without being surprised on the day.

Pretty misunderstood world eSports, but in very simple terms is eSports brings at-risk kids to school.

It helps them get re-engaged in a school environment.

We bring cognitive training into that, critical life skills and communication skills as well.

It's not until I've been involved in this programme with the Queensland Government broadly to understanding how committed they are to growing technology within Queensland and collaborating with the NRL.

Just reflecting back on how being part of the NRL Tech Showcase in 2024 really helped us and what we're really hoping to get out of today.

It's definitely about building those networks.

It's great to see some of the other exhibitors and the other people who are showcasing today and the sports tech community is just growing so quickly in Queensland that I think it's great for us all to get together and learn from each other.
